Then and Now...

As a Teenager Myself...

I was a headstrong, fearless, and impulsive teenager.

I embarrassingly earned a 1.8 GPA my freshman year.

20+ absences in 1st semester of my sophomore year.

Bounced between houses throughout my HS years.

I know how teens think, feel, and learn.

As a HS Math Teacher and Guidance Counselor

I knew I wanted to be a teacher at 6 years old.

I loved teaching students who struggled with math.

Counseling, I learned to inspire change with teens.

I fell in LOVE with teenagers.

I learned to guide, teach and prepare teenagers for life.

As a Parent of 3 Teenagers/ Young Adults

Learned to trust that everything would work out.

I second-guessed myself every step of the way.

I once said, "You make me want to RIP Your Face Off."

Empowered them to make and trust their own decisions.

I have an amazing relationship with all 3 of my kids.
